Hey folks,
If any of you have interest and bandwidth for picking up a Lilypad fashion commission, a lady came to Project Night this week with a project that sounds pretty cool, looking for help. She wants to make a dog's wedding dress with LEDs programmed to look like falling rain, based loosely on this Buechley project. She's been to Hive76 and gotten advice there on powering the LEDs independently of the Lilypad; we spent some time on Thursday talking through her design and various prototyping milestones she might want to hit.

Please email Gladys Delgado-Garced at doggone...@mac.com or call her at 215-460-2293 if you're interested. Or refer this project on to a friend!
peace
christalee

Thank You Christalee for the information.  I do have the seamstress, and i will sew on all of the electronics;  what i need is for someone to tell me where to put my LIlypad, shift resisters, LED controllers and for the code,  I wanted it to look like it's raining and then stop as if it does,  when the rain hits the ground and then maybe the last 3 or four rolls at the bottom flash or blink like crazy.  I want to put all theses LEDs behind the satin fabric so that on the front of the satin fabric i can add a separate piece of fabric with a set of LEDs in the shape of a diamond and have that diamond light up after all the other lights finish their code. the theme for the fundraiser is diamond.  I can get a free code for the diamond since i just want them to blink or chase and i want to use a separate Lilypad Arduino so that i don't overload the other one. I am new to e-textiles so this is just what I'm thinking. You may say i only need one lilypad so i leave that part up to who ever helps me. also if any of this is not doable I'm open to suggestions. You mentioned a person who works on e-textile projects, I think you said his name was Tim, could you ask him please? I will work hard with whoever  helps me. I ordered all of the supplies that i was told to get by PJ from Hive76, I should get them next week. Thank You for taking the time to email me. My number is 215-460-2293 if you find someone that wants to take this job. Thank You Gladys
