Come read with us! Three graduate students at Penn are in the early stages of planning a conference that will bring together artists, activists, and scholars to think about the transgressive potential of technology. We're using the reading group format to hone the focus of the conference, but we expect to think through hacking/making through trans, queer, crip, and transnational technologies. We welcome all interested folks who want to come read with us.

For our first meeting on March 6th at 7:30pm at the Hacktory, we'll be reading the introduction of Sandy Stone's book, The War of Desire and Technology at the Close of the Mechanical Age, two short pieces by Micha Cardenas and her collaborators, and two HuffPo articles on the "Undocuqueer" campaign. Readings are attached, links below.
