Contract Linux Admin Position

Hey folks,

Matt Torbin here. My company Poptent is looking for a solid linux
admin so I'm hoping
that the Hive will have some good resources. Below is the job
description:

Our company, Poptent, has an immediate need for a Systems
administrator with experience on linux platforms. We're looking for
someone with sysadmin-level knowledge of server architecture and
the
LAMP stack. Requires experience with:

* Linux (of course), specifically Ubuntu
* Hardware virtualization with VMware ESXi and Hyper-V
* Build and deployment automation, with knowledge of version
control
systems (Git/Mercurial/Subversion)

In addition, you should be self-motivated, have a passion for
problem-solving and a desire to grow/learn. At a minimum, the
position
will be a 1-2 month contract; preferably on-site, but remote is a
possibility.

If you meet some of our additional long-term needs, there is a
full-time on-site position available in our Conshohocken, PA
office.
Requires experience with some or all of the following:

* Apache Tomcat, Nginx and Apache HTTP Server
* Load balancing and failover
* Cloud platforms including Amazon Web Services, Rackspace
* Monitoring and optimizing of system and application performance
* Network and Host level Security
* Shell programming via Perl, Python, etc. . .
* OPTIONAL: Application programming via PHP, Python, Java, .NET

Poptent is a crowdsourced video production/advertising company.
Tech
operations are based in Conshohocken, PA, but we also have offices
in
San Clemente, CA, and Sau Paulo, Brazil. We are a small and
passionate
