Hey folks,
Here's a partial list of events that are going on during Philly Tech Week with some sort of Hacktory support or participation, for your planning needs. Some of these also need volunteers, so if you have some free time and want to help out, we would really appreciate it!

Hardware Freedom Day, Saturday April 20, 11am-3pm: Celebrate Open Source Hardware with a talk by Far McKon in the morning and a project build/hack session in the afternoon. Details and RSVP here: http://thehacktory.ticketleap.com/hardware-freedom-day/

Balloon Mapping Workshop, Wednesday April 24, 930am-330pm: Join members of Hacks/Hackers, The Public Lab, and The Hacktory for a morning of aerial balloon imaging and an afternoon of mapmaking in downtown Philadelphia. Details and RSVP here: http://www.meetup.com/Hacks-Hackers-Philadelphia/events/111090052/

Wilson Environmental Festival, Thursday April 25, 9am-3pm: Hacktory organizers are helping put on the annual Environmental Festival at Wilson Elementary School in West Philly. Contact me off-list if you want to volunteer for a half-day or all-day shift, helping K-6 students explore fun science activities, including squishy circuits, origami geometry, and more!

Project Night, Thursday April 25, 7pm-9pm: Our usual weekly open house at 3711 Market St. Come by for a tour or to show off something you made!

See you around!
