Thank You!! On the road to recovery!

When I wrote that last email I was really in a bummed-out place in
this process. Today, nothing has changed with the physical, but I am
feeling much better. Anissa is also starting to recover. Her losses in
this misadventure are truly the hardest to deal with; her journals and
photos. We have been sending backups of the photos to the US. So
hopefully not all will be lost.

Thank you all for you words of support. Reading each email I was able
to hear your voices and see you faces in my minds eye. That remains a
great comfort. Hearing what has been happening in your lives was
FANTASTIC! We will take some time over the next week or two to reply
personally to your emails.

Many asked if there was anything that they could do to help. I am not
sure yet. We have a police report on file. There is no insurance
coverage for anything. There is not going to be any investigation. We
have enough money in the bank and the travellers checks we had stolen
have been replaced. All our immediate needs have been met! Now we just
plan put some space between us and one bad day in Roma.
