Dear Friends and Pastors:

I became engaged in the pro-family movement after learning that my children’s public high school was not only allowing radical activists into the building, but also referring students to these individuals and groups outside of school for further indoctrination without parental consent.

These groups became so successful in influencing the culture because they are expert “evangelists” for their causes.  While managing to recruit and train an army of new activists right out the publish schools each year, they have also worked towards intimidating and silencing Christian students.  These efforts are supported by administrators and educators that do not recognize the rights of parents to raise their children according to their own values and beliefs, and through secular curriculums designed by atheists and Marxists.

Focus on the Family, a Christian ministry that promotes conservative values in public policy, responded by sponsoring “Bring Your Bible to School Day,” a student led effort that brings the transformative, life-affirming words of Jesus Christ into American schools each year.  This movement is growing, with over 514,500 students from more than 50,000 schools across the country participating last year.  It is an activity protected by the First Amendment as well as by Equal Access laws, and legal assistance is available to any students who receive push-back from their schools.

The event will be held on Thursday, October 7th this year.  Imagine the impact if parents and churches across the country helped to empower students to positively influence their hurting generation! Visit bringyourbible.org for information and resources.

Sincerely,
Diane V. Splitz
