There are still a few tickets left for our show on November 26. You can also book now for our Christmas concert in aid of the Gaza School of Music on December 9 in the Lutheran Evangelical Church (more details to follow.)
Such was the audience response to Mikel Murfi's show 'The Man in the Woman's Shoes' earlier this year that we promised to bring him back in the acclaimed follow-up show in the Kitsy Rainey trilogy ‘I Hear You and Rejoice.’
According to the New York Times: ‘The words provide a welcome excuse for Mr. Murfi’s astonishing acting.’
The proceeds from this evening will support the Edith Wilkins Foundation for Street Children in Darjeeling who are currently experiencing a funding crisis.
What the critics say:
‘The boundless power of words and storytelling to conjure worlds to involve and enchant an audience has rarely been so clearly demonstrated.’ – London Evening Standard
‘It’s impossible to resist the gale theatrical force as Mr. Murfi presents his heroine through a multi-angled prism, with body language as precise, condensed and evocative as Morse code.’ – New York Times
What the GLAS audience said:
'A very big thank you for bringing Mikel Murfi to Geneva yesterday. He was absolutely
brilliant. I’ve been going to the theatre for 50 years or so and can’t remember a more
stunning performance. I left Coudriers buzzing.'
'…another unforgettable evening!'
'Thank you so much for an amazingly entertaining evening tonight!'
'That was a super performance last night…. Can’t wait for parts 2 and 3!'
'Standing ovation well merited…. GLAS live on. Best wishes in 2024.'
