Bloomsday celebrates Thursday, June 16th, 1904, the day immortalised in
James Joyce’s 1922 novel *Ulysses*. The novel follows Leopold Bloom’s
journey through Dublin from 8AM through to the early hours of the
following morning.

*The reviews*
Marilyn Monroe read Ulysses 70 years ago without the encouragement of
seeing Gerry Fleming perform his brilliant comic dive into the mighty tome, *Blooming
Ulysses*. GLAS saw the show two years ago and we are delighted to bring it
to Geneva on Bloomsday 2025 as part of our 20th anniversary celebrations.
*‘At one stage Farrell, as Leopold Bloom, delivers an extraordinary stream
of consciousness, an interior monologue triggered by the mundane act of
turning on a tap. .....hats off to Farrell for memorising it all,’* – The
Sunday Times.
*‘Delightful…A full..mischievous celebration of life*,’ – Sunday
Independent.
Even if you have never read the book, you will thoroughly enjoy this show,
and you never know, you might win a copy of the book in the famous GLAS
raffle! It will impress visitors even if you just put it on your coffee
table.
*The proceeds from the evening will go towards humanitarian relief in the
Gaza Strip* and we would ask you to share this email with anyone who likes
