Well, well, well, what do we have here?
Hope everyone is doing well. It's nearly August. That can mean only one thing. OK, it can mean a lot of things. In this case, it means fantasy football season is quickly approaching.
It's been literally months since I've pestered any of you and candidly, I should have been doing a LOT more. We have a ton of stuff to cover in the next few weeks.
For starters, last season ended basically a week or two after I started a brand new job that no longer allows me to hang out focusing on fantasy football all day. Coincidentally, I also started some other non-work activities around the same time and I totally dropped the ball on payouts with the exception of anyone who actually reached out to me. So, if you didn't get paid out last year, be on the lookout for a text from me talking cash.
In prep for next season, I've (finally) put together the updated pricing sheet. Unfortunately, that same new gig that doesn't allow me to work on fantasy all day doesn't grant me access to google sheets. So I had to pull the old stuff into excel and then upload it back into google. Not ideal. But the prices should be updated so get on and check it out.
Because I'm so late on everything this year, I'm voting we push the keeper deadline back August 15th or so. That gives us time to get through the rookie draft and have everyone get things set.
So yeah, rookie draft. We should probably do that like this week or the next. I'll let you guys weigh in on which works. Reminder that it's just via email.
We also need to set a draft date ASAP. Full disclosure, I will be drafting from home this season. No, not because I'm pouting, but because baby number three is due August 22 so doubt I'm able to sneak away. So once we have a date, I'll leave it to those who plan to be there live to choose a location.
OK, so here's the links to the draft order, pricing sheet, etc. Review and let me know if you have questions or issues and we'll get this thing rolling.
