Tonight, the 17th of Tammuz, is the yahrtzeit of our friend Susan Meth z"l and the first yahrtzeit of Zwe Padeh z"l.  I am sending this only to my small "Susan Meth list" as I don't have a separate list for Zwe, but almost all of you knew and were connected to Zwe.  And Susan dearly loved Naomi and Zwe.  I had many meals at the Padehs with Susan and their home was a strong source of where we all got to know each other and our community was built on a foundation of love.  Together they were the Momma and Poppa of the Carlebach Shul.  Significantly, both Susan and Zwe left the world on a fast day of national mourning for the Jewish people.

May the neshamas of both Chaya Leah bat Dovid and Zwe Yosef ben Shlomo Yehuda have high aliyot.  May Hashem bless Naomi with good health and safety and strength ahd (till) 120 and send her comfort.

Please keep Susan and Zwe in mind on their yahrtzeits, speak of them, learn in their merit (learning torah was loved by both) and give tzedaka or do other mitzvot in their merit.
