FYI

I would like to make you aware of the “Afrika kommt!” fellowship program for which applications are currently accepted (Deadline: Feb 3rd, 2017). The program is an initiative of the German industry for future leaders from Sub-Saharan Africa, however, for the 10th anniversary edition 2017 two places have been made available for future leaders from the non-profit sector. It is a one year program which combines language and management training with an 8 month work experience at a German host institution. Robert Bosch Stiftung will be hosting  one of the non-profit fellows, the second placement will be with the Foundation for Development Cooperation, also located in Stuttgart.

Please spread the word in your network. They are looking for a future leader preferably from a EAC member country with a University degree (Master or equivalent) and at least two years of working experience in a non-for-profit organization or institution. Applicants must be below 35 years of age, female candidates are highly welcome and encouraged to apply.

Further information on the fellowship and on the profile they are looking for can be found in the program announcement https://gc21.giz.de/ibt/gc21/area=portal/en/usr/modules/gc21/ws-afrikakommt/ibt/downloads/home/Announcement%20Webseite6.pdf
