Majella Clancy is a visiting lecturer of the University of Ulster, Belfast

and is engaged in a Practice-led PhD in Contemporary Women’s Painting

at the same University. Her works, done by painting on photo and digital print surfaces

open up questions about race, class and cultural and sexual differences. 

Her practice seeks to address multiple and provisional positions and experiences.

At the end of her present residency at Theertha she is scheduled to have an exhibition

at the theertha Red Dot Gallery, with the preview on the 25th of August, 2010 at 6.30 pm.

 

The exhibition is organized by the Women Artists' Colloquium of Theertha

and the Theertha Red Dot Gallery.
