Four chances to see TDU this week!
First up, this Tuesday, Oct. 2nd, will be our last show in our month long series of Tuesday nights at Notsuoh. There is a new local artist opening at notsuoh every Tuesday and it is always a blast. Wilson is the best barkeep in Houston...never runs out of cold Newcastle in a bottle. Last chance! 314 Main St from 8-10 pm. No Cover.
Secondly, on Thursday night October 4th, will be our first show in what will be an ongoing weekly gig on Thursday nights at Avant Garden! (formerly Helios). If you haven't been by the newly remodeled Avant Garden you're in for a treat, it's absolutely beautiful! Marianna has put together a stunner...you won't recognize the place. We will be upstairs starting promptly at 10 pm. If you get there early you can catch the incomparable Two Star Symphony at 8:30 downstairs. We are super excited about this gig..please come and check it out! 411 Westheimer. No Cover.
Third chance, for all you peeps who don't like to stay up late on a school night you can catch us this Saturday, October 6th, at NOON (we will make it, we promise) at Traders Village during the art car show! That's right, once again TDU will be providing the jams while you check out some of the most fantastic art cars in the nation. It is always a great party when TDU gets together with the art cars. Special guest Joe Mathlete! 7979 N Eldridge Pkwy. (I am going to say No Cover here..I don't think Trader's Village charges a fee).
Last but not least, later that night at 8pm, October 6th, TDU is honored to be a featured performer at the Mildred's Umbrella/Bobbindoctrin "Rotten To The Core" Gala at Diverseworks! These wonderful and highly acclaimed local theatre companies deserve your support, and they have quite evening in store for you! I mean, they have DOOMSDAY!! They have Keith Reynolds!! They also will have great food and drink...not to be missed. Come out and show your support to these very important Houston performing arts groups! 25$ (it's a bargain). 1117 East Freeway.
