So, I haven't heard back from Larry about the fact that neither the web
groups nor the nntp server are responding.

Not only «online again», but improved.  Now I can open the threads, which I couldn't before this.

However:  I see only 17 threads – is that correct?

Do you mean this google group?  It never went offline and I haven't changed any of its settings.  And yes, it only has 17 threads.  No idea why you wouldn't have been able to open threads before.

If you mean the pnews.thedbcommunity.com website or newsgroups, which were offline for a while, there are 18 newsgroups, each with many threads.  So, are you accessing via NNTP or the web interface?  And which newsgroup are you viewing?

Sorry — I was unclear, yes this Google-group. (On the web: https://groups.google.com/g/thedbcommunity?pli=1)  I could not see anything but the first post in any thread. (Now there is no problem, and there is an indication how many posts there are in the threads – I saw no such thing, and nothing I did "opened" a thread.) And since there were not that many I thought nothing is really working here...
Everything's OK now! I thought this thing was connected, but probably it happened accidentally at around the same time, and we humans have a tendency to "make logic" out of coincidences…

Gotcha.  Glad it's working for you now.
