Something from the past to be aware of if upgrading windows. Happened to me again this week. When you upgrade windows it will clobber the winhlp32.exe file which is in the Windows sub directory on your hard drive and the Paradox Help will cease to work.

You will need an old copy of the winhlp32.exe file and will need to replace the new one however the file is locked by your new windows install. One way of doing it is (from the old help group) is:-

Windows10, under "command line", run as admin:

TAKEOWN /F C:\Windows\winhlp32.exe
then
ICACLS C:\Windows\winhlp32.exe /grant administrators:F

Then copy your old version across and Help will work again.

Or you can install some other application, that can read help files.
Like "Help explorer".
