Hello,
I have a very old Paradox 7 app. Although Paradox 7 is meant for Windows 95, I was able to use it with every Windows version until I got to Windows 11. In Windows 11 the Paradox 7 installation doesn't seem to work. Do you know if it's possible to use Paradox 7 on Windows 11?

Best regards,
Joao Boltshauser

you really shouldn't be using anything lower than p9, on anything lower than win7.. less might work, but some things might be inconsistent and/or totally not functional

I have seen many combinations, but not that one. I know it ran on Windows 10.

I believe Paradox 7 had a 16-bit and 32-bit version, that might matter. Which do you have?

What is the install error?

I agree with Steven, maybe try to move to version 9 or above. Do you have source code files or delivered? You will need source code file to jump versions. You would have to redeliver in the higher versions. It is best to open every form, script, library and save in the new version.

I know. I wonder if it will open if I try a more recent version of Paradox. V7 wasn't even from Corel.

I'm not sure if it's 16 or 32 bits. It was released for Windows 95. Yeah, I should have upgraded to something else long ago. But whenever I've moved to a newer version of Windows it kept working, so I didn't mind.
There's no install error but when you try to open it, nothing happens.
I'll try to find a later Paradox version on the web. I do have the source code.

Joao.. get 9/10/11.. they're essentially the same thing.. you'll have to re-compile all the code one time, but then it'll work fine

I have installed the Paradox that comes with WordPerfect 2021 and it worked fine.
Thanks a lot Kevin and Steven.
