PRAYER FOCUS

Are we walking in our authority? Are we utilizing the power of God?
Are we applying the Word of God? What is the use of hearing the report
of the Lord and not believing the report of the Lord? God has given us
so many directions that we have not obeyed or followed. One of those
commands, concepts or correctives we have not done is ‘declaration’.
God said, declare a thing and it will be established unto you, or for
you. ‘Declare’ means to make known or to state clearly, to announce
officially, to state emphatically, to manifest or reveal, or to make
due statement. The New International Version of the Bible translates
‘declare’ as making a decision. “What you decide on will be
done…” (Job22:28).

So during this season of your life, what kind of decisions are you
making? What course of action are you following? What do you want to
see happen? Now is the time to make definitive statements and
decisions. There is no time for hesitation or procrastination. God has
given us the authority to announce our course of action. Just as a
political figure declares his or her candidacy and then launches their
campaign, we too must do the same. We must declare and decide what we
want and then must have the courage and patience to go after it. We
must seize the day and walk in our God given authority.

Interestingly, Job heard this truth during his greatest life
transition. It is one thing practicing truth during good times, but it
is a sign of maturity to obey it during tragedy. Job lost everything
and everyone but his wife, but he was being told, declare a thing,
make a decision or create a plan. In other words, do not allow your
current state to be your benediction. God has the last word on our
situations and conditions, and God is saying, declare a thing. Change
the trajectory of your existence and reality. There is power and life
in our tongues (Proverbs 18:21). Speak life over who you are, what we
are in, and what we are experiencing. Declare God is going to do a new
thing for us and with us (Isaiah 43:19), and it is about to spring up.
Just as the screen door on our grandmothers’ porch springs back when
opened, our lives are about to spring up, shoot up or get into its
Godly position.

Go ahead, don’t be afraid, declare it, God can and will do it. There
is nothing too hard for God, only if we believe. “Believe and declare
a thing and it will be established for you (Job 22:28)!”

PRAYER

God you have not given us the spirit of fear, but of power, sound
mind, and wisdom (II Timothy 1:7).
We are stirring up our gift of speech, planning, and deciding (II
Timothy 1:6).
We have decided to make declaration and our boast in you (Psalm 34:2).
We have decided we will use our given authority from you and say
whatever you loose or bind in heaven, we loose or bind on earth (see
Matthew 18:18).
We declare healing for the nations and individuals. We believe by your
stripes we can be healed. (Isaiah 53:5)
We declare the joy of salvation (Psalm 51:12).
We desire for people to be saved and experience the joy of being
saved.
May they realize your fruit in their lives (Galatians 5:22).
We declare people get the desire of their hearts and walk in increase
and abundance (Psalm 37:4).
We believe you can and will bring your promises to pass.
For you are not slack concerning your promises (II Peter 3:9).

In Jesus’ Name, Amen
