PRAYER FOCUS

"God will provide" (Genesis 22:8). It is one thing making that
statement when there is plenty and all is well. But it is another
thing making that statement during the time of testing and lack.
Abraham made the proclamation that "God will Provide" when he needed
God to bless him during the possible sacrifice of his son, Isaac. He
needed God to provide a lamb before he sacrificed his son (Genesis
22:7).

When a person reaches that level of spiritual maturity, that God will
provide, he or she believes that nothing is too hard for God and at
the appointed time God will make a way (Genesis 18:14). In addition,
one is assured that God's hands are not short and God's words will
come to pass (Numbers 11:23). There is a certainty that God can do
everything and nothing is impossible with God (see Job 42:2; Luke
1:37). These are the words of faith, "God will provide," that we
should hold on to when we are being tried and tested during lean
times.

"But the money," Amaziah whined! "What shall I do about that? And the
prophet replied, the Lord is able to give you much more than this" (II
Chronicles 25:9)! The key is God is able to do exceeding abundantly
what we can think or imagine (Ephesians 3:20-21). We must trust God
and take our thoughts off of how we are going to handle the test.

"And Jesus said unto His disciples... take no thought for your life,
what you shall eat, neither for the body, what you shall put on...
consider the ravens: for they neither sow nor reap,... and God feeds
them: how much more are you better than the fowls" (Luke 12:22-24)?
Simply, God will provide therefore we should not seek what we shall
eat, or what we shall drink, neither be doubtful. But we should seek
God because God knows what we have need of for our lives (Luke
12:29-30).
PRAYER

God we are grateful that we know you supply all our needs
according to your riches in glory by Jesus Christ (Philippians 4:19).
So when we call you from out of the temple you hear our cries and they
enter into your ears (II Samuel 22:7). And you will respond to our
needs.
We are clear that you will feed us and take care of us for the rest of
our lives (Genesis 48:15).
You provide bread for our natural bodies, but you also give us the
bread of life that proceeds out of your mouth. It is your spiritual
bread that makes us alive.
Lord you never withhold any good thing form us especially when we walk
upright before you (Psalm 84:11).
You show us favor and you give us the desires of our hearts.
We are confident because of you and we know the righteous will never
be moved.
We will not be afraid even when we are being tried and tested.
Our hearts are fixed on you. And our hearts are established in your
truth (Psalm 112: 5-9).
Lord we also will operate in obedience and honor you with our
firstfruits
and you promise that our barns will be filled with plenty and overflow
(Proverbs 3:9-10).
Because we are liberal in our giving you make our souls fat (Proverbs
11:25).
And when we give it is given back to us in good measure, pressed
down;
shaken together, and running over. People give unto our bosoms (Luke
6:38).
God you always provide and we can make that statement during the good
days and
even when we are being tested and tried. Because of you we have never
been without.
You always meet our needs and exceed our expectations (Genesis 22:8).
So we thank you for being our God who takes care of us like a good
parent.
You are always watching out for us. And since you are, we never want
because you are the shepherd.
We lie down at night asleep like we are in green pastures by still
waters (Psalm 23:1-5).

In Jesus Name, Amen
