Circle Meeting next Monday + Sea & Ski stuff

Reminder for our circle meeting next Monday (2/25/13) at 7pm at Mike Rutishauser's house at 7 Carter Court in South Elgin. His phone # is 847-476-5150 in case you get lost or are running late. He lives just down the street from me.
The craft involves a little glue and some markers, so no special clothing should be required. We will discuss AIM #1 - clean in body and pure in spirit. This one is hard to communicate in 10 minutes, so please help me by having some light discussions with your daughter this week on the topic. I would really appreciate the help.
Our next big event is on March 2-3 and is the circle Sea & Ski Adventure at Grand Geneva. We have a smaller crowd than in years past, so I will send a separate communication to the attendees only. If anyone decides to join the festivities, for either day or for both, please please please let me know by the end of the day Friday (2/22/13) so that we have an accurate headcount for ski lessons and the waterpark. You do not want to miss Tim "The Torpedo" Kamin going bananas down the hill full throttle later to be followed by a few Advil and a beer at The Upper Crust pizza joint.
Shortly after our skiing recovery, on March 9, our annual boat race (Regatta Open) takes place. In my opinion, this is more fun than the car race in that the girls are much more involved as they provide the power for their boats by blowing them down the halfpipe full of water. I will distribute boat kits as soon as they are available. The engineering is less involved than with the cars. The race will be held at the YMCA and will last a couple of hours. I highly encourage every single Cricket to participate. Maybe a lot of our dads have passed their blowhard traits on to their daughters, but as a circle, we have historically cleaned up at this event and I would be one proud Navigator if we whooped the Wild again! Don't let me down.
