Since I was too lazy to find the old topic, I decided I'd post a new
one. Besides, the last one was called 'Meddle updates' or something
like that, but that's not the only fic I'm currently working on, so
there...

Right, where was I? I heard rumors that I abandoned Meddle. I'll have
to disappoint you all - I didn't. Meddle is only on hold until I
finish something else.

I haven't touched Meddle for a while now, and truthfully, I'm itchy to
get back to it. Since real life and other boring duties kept
interfering with my writing, I shut it down completely until I could
get back to it fully.

Unfortunately, along the way, there was a challenge on SIYE. It's over
now, but I kinda wanted to participate in it. That obviously didn't
happen, but it still produced a story. You see, Dave threw a bunny at
me, and it bit hard.

The result is an interesting plot line that should appear soon. I'm
still dealing with some bothersome RL interference but it should go
away in a day or so, so I'll be able to finish it and send it off to
beta.

After that, I'll be returning to Meddle.

So, the schedule looks something like this:

A Change Of Heart (one-shot), soon to be finished. Almost fully
written, a sequel already outlined
Meddle:11 - the chapter is almost ready, but I am not.
Meddle:12
Sequel to COH
Meddle:13
Still unnamed one-shot, derived from a bunny that made itself know
several months ago.

And if anyone cares, I've been posting re-edited chapters of Meddle on
PS. You can thank Ilovecats for that, since he took his time to go
through them and fix the lingering errors.

That's about it. Now let's see if I can get all of this wrapped up
sooner and surprise myself.

A Change Of Heart Ch1 is in early beta. (And it obviously isn't a one-
shot anymore.)
Chapter 2 is almost fully drafted.

When can we expect Chapter 11 of Meddle? I'm sure I'm not the only one
iching to read it.

Truthfully, I'm not comfortable giving a precise time-frame at the
moment, but let's say in 3-4 weeks.

A Change Of Heart:1 has been posted.
Chapter 2 is in early beta.
Chapter 3 is almost finished.

Meddle:11 is around the corner, but I have a feeling the beta process
my take a bit longer.

Er... It seems PS.net managed to lose the last chapter of Meddle
posted there...

It was posted today. I even had a couple of reviews for it. It's still
in the latest stories, but the link says that the story doesn't exist
(or at least the chapter doesn't).

Did that ever happen to anyone else?

Or do I just attract technical problems?

Great news on all fronts.

I am very much enjoying the post-challenge story 'A Change of Heart'
and I am really looking forward to the updates. I never harangue
author's for updates, though I am chomping at the bit for the next
chapter, I am very curious as to where your taking this story or how
many chapters you are planning, since it seems as if this could very
well be a lengthy story given the plot.

I've a question as far as characterization, more curiosity than
anything else. The traits for being sorted into Slytherin are, to
quote the Sorting Hat in canon, '...those cunning folk use any means
to achieve their ends' - was your choice to place Ginny in this house
a plot device for your story? It's just that this trait is not one I
usually associate with Ginny. I can see, as with Harry, where there
would be a great 'desire to prove' herself, but she's not exhibited
anything other reaction other than anger and betrayal up to this
point, albeit it is early in your story. Feel free to ignore the
query, I'm just be a nosy-parker.

I will say that the twist with the dairy was unique. I don't honestly
recall that ever occurring in any other fanfic story, so that has me
intrigued as well.

Again, looking forward to the continuation of the story.

Oh wait - is that the latest Firefox update? I can't make PS.net go in
Firefox AT ALL. Maybe it was cos I updated Firefox?

I have to go through IE to make PS.net go these days. It's insane, I
only got Firefox cos SIYE make IE got mental...not PS makes Firefox go
mental. I hope there are more browser options for when ... I dunno
Checkmated makes them both go crazy *rollseyes*
