For those that want to know...

Real Life has not been kind to my beta team, and then just as ch 2 was
making it's way back to me in the middle of the process, I lost all
motivation to write for a couple of weeks. That motivation is starting to
come back, and my "late betas" can expect to see it "soon'ish".
