CP West Coast Conference

After six conferences on the East Coast, the Cerebral Palsy Group is
headed west this year. While we will still have our regular
conference in Washington this coming October, the Group will also hold
a conference in San Jose, CA. in June. We're excited about this
conference because it will give people on the West Coast an
opportunity to participate in the only conference in the United States
that is designed by and for adults with CP.
1. The Contract for the San Jose Doubletree Hotel has been signed and
so by this Wednesday people can start booking their rooms. The room
rate is $95.00 a night. The following is the number to call to reserve
rooms (408) 453-4000
2. The Conference Fee will be $290.
3. We have received confirmation from Dr. Mindy Aisen of the Cerebral
Palsy International Research Foundation who will present the results
of a path breaking study that focuses on medical care for adults with
cerebral palsy. This presentation will be on Friday, June 25th from
3:00 pm to 5:00 pm followed by the opening reception of the
conference. Additional speakers will be announced in the next several
weeks
4. This week we will have a Save Date Card developed and saved to a
PDF. Please let us know if you like to receive a copy of the Save the
Date Card.

Yes, the hotel has free accessible (wheelchair/scooter) transportation
to and from the airport.
