St. Thecla Enrichment Programs are filling up fast! Mr. Cerjak, Miss Dohnal, and Mrs. Comerford’s classes are already filled up and closed for registration. There are still plenty of great programs available for our winter session. Register fast, classes are filling up!
Mark you calendars! This Friday, December 14, St. Thecla is hosting a book fair at the Barnes and Noble in Village Crossing off of Touhy Ave. from 4-9PM. Bring the kids and make the most of this fun evening! There will be a scavenger hunt, special guest readers, hot chocolate, and more! St. Thecla will earn back 15% of all proceeds! It will be great for holiday shopping and a fun filled evening for all! See you there!
In conjunction with the Barnes & Noble Fundraising Event on Friday, December 14, 2012, BUFFALO WILD WINGS (BWW) has generously agreed to donate 15% of all food sales made by customers presenting the Saint Thecla ticket ALL DAY on Friday, December 14. BWW is located in the same mall, just across the parking lot from Barnes & Noble. This offer applies to ALL dine-in OR carry-out orders. Tickets will be sent home again today, and will also be available in the office and at the Barnes & Noble event. Consider this...BWW's phone number is on the ticket, so you can place a carry-out order while you shop at Barnes and Noble...EAT WINGS! RAISE FUNDS!
Congratulations Meghan Staunton who won first place in the 2012-2013 St. Thecla Directory drawing contest. Meghan’s wonderful artwork will grace the cover of our 2012-2013 School Directory coming out later this year. Also, congratulations to Emma Lizak who won second place. Emma’s art work will be featured on the back cover. Great job, girls!
St. Thecla Girl Scouts are collecting clean, gently used coats and jackets as part of the One Warm Coat community service project. Coats of all shapes sizes are welcome. One Warm Coat is dedicated to distributing reusable coats, free of charge, directly to local children and adults. The program is an easy way for you and your family to pass along coats and jackets that you no longer need. Coats can be dropped of in the lobby of the school.

December 18th: 1st Grade Christmas Play at 1:30PM (Church)
December 19th: Annual Christmas Play (gr. 5-8) at 1:30PM & 7:00PM (Gym)
December 21st: 11:30 Dismissal and Christmas Break (No Aftercare)
