Dear Parents,
Going home today are Parent/Teacher Conference forms on GOLD paper. Please fill them out and return to school no later than November 2nd. Parent/Teacher conferences will be held on November 20th from Noon to 8:00PM. These conferences are mandatory; if you cannot make the conference on the 20th, please schedule an alternative time with your child’s teacher(s).
Make sure you visit our Hair Razor Haunted House this weekend! This is the last weekend to visit, and I cannot think of a better way to get into the Halloween spirit than by daring to walk through the Hair Razor Haunted House.
St. Thecla will celebrate Halloween this year on Wednesday, October 31. Students in K-8th are invited to bring their costumes to school to change into after lunch. Pre-school students may wear their costumes to school. We will have our annual Halloween Parade at 1:45. Please remember that all costumes must be school appropriate and that no face paint, hair dye, or weapons are allowed.
At the end of each day, students are reminded to make sure they have everything to go home. Please speak with your children about the importance of making sure they have everything they need at the end of the school day. Students will not be allowed back into school after dismissal.
With the fall officially upon us, the temperatures are dropping. Please remember to send your children to school with a jacket for recess. Girls may wear their gym pants under their skirts on recess.
As always, please remember the importance of weekly Mass attendance with your children.
