Traffic is crucial to the success of home based internet marketing
businesses...and if you are like a lot of people in internet marketing
you are looking for a way to get traffic that is less expensive than
pay-per-click. Integration marketing is probably as low cost as you
can get...and it results in excellent quality traffic.
With pay-per-click, or PPC, you pay for the click of course...but
that's not all. You also have to convert that click. And the quality
of the traffic is really dependent upon the frame of mind of the
person who clicks the ad.
You may put together a really, really well-targeted key word...but if
your ad doesn't put someone in the right frame of mind...or doesn't
"speak to" the person who is in the right frame of mind to buy...then
you just aren't going to get the results you expect.
Another thing about PPC that a lot of people don't understand is that
you've got a particular web page that has all these different ads out
there...ads from lots of different marketers...ads you don't have any
control over. Well, every single one of those ads is putting the
potential customer into a different frame of mind...so you really
don't know what frame of mind they will be in when they hit your
squeeze page. Now they are on your squeeze page and it is your job to
convert them!
Pretty complicated stuff!
On the other hand, with integration marketing you don't have the
expense of PPC. You don't have an ad on a page with a bunch of other
ads affecting the mind of the potential buyer. Instead, you have the
attention of someone who has already made a purchase!
Not only are they already qualified as a buyer...they bought a product
that is in the same niche...in other words, it is something that
somebody wanted who is likely to want or at least be interested in,
your product!
With integration marketing it doesn't have to be the same exact
thing...it can be related...you know, a complimentary thing. It is
like when you go to Amazon and select a book that you want to buy they
have a program that says, people who bought this also bought x, y, z.
They do that because lots of people will buy those other books that
they might not have even thought of before.
Integration marketing is extremely powerful because you have this
super-targeted traffic! It is going to less traffic than PPC, maybe,
but it will be much, much better traffic. The people are definitely in
your niche and they just bought so they are in the frame of mind to
buy.
You can do integration marketing with products from your own home
based internet marketing businesses...and then it doesn't cost you a
thing. But you can also do integration marketing with other marketers
in your niche. This is a higher level of integration marketing and it
gives fantastic results...of course you will share you sales with the
person whose product you have added your offer to, but that is still
pretty cheap compared to getting a customer out of thin air!
