Moving between screens

When I get a screen setup -- say I am looking at "All In Test" and I
sort it by due date so I can prioritize with the group. Then, someone
has a question about a specific id #. I click on the ID number to get
details and when I return to the previous screen, I have to sort it
all again and move to the right screen (if there is more than one grid
of information).

It would be nice to have the system "remember" how I left the screen
and return me back it in the state that I left it.

The workaround that we have been doing is to open a second window.
Then we leave the sort and position where it is and go to the second
window to get the information. Sometimes we forget though and click
on something and then lose all the settings.

Just a thought.
