Change label of default fields

Hello,

Is there a way to change the label (text) displayed for default fields?  For example I would like to change Fixer to "Assigned to".

Yes, there is.  Please go to "Admin" page and then click "Appearance" tab.  From there you can do label customization or action name customization.
