For more information about the Metro District of the C&MA, visit their website at http://metrocma.org	Under The Hood Did you know you’re suppose to rotate your tires every 7,500 miles?  If you knew, have you been keeping track?  Maybe you’re one of those rare folks who actually does but the majority of us don’t pay attention until something goes wrong.  For me, that was last Sunday when I discovered not only was my tire completely flat but also completely worn out.  Then it struck me that life, and life together in the body of Christ, is often like that. We roll through it without paying attention to what needs to be maintained and cared for and the next thing you know, we’re in the breakdown lane.  So we’re taking some time this Fall to peek under the hood and see God’s design for the church and how he designed it so that we can prevent our life together in the local church from looking like that tire; deflated and inoperable.  Series continues on 9/19 @10AM. Youth Group We will be starting up next week! We will be playing Minute to Win It tournament. Feel free to invite your friends it will be a fun time to introduce them to our youth group. Project 316 On the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of each month, this Somerset connect group will be gathering to study and apply the Scripture to our lives. Petition Most of us all agree with the importance of prayer in our lives, but we don't often have the opportunity to pray with many people and experience God working through our group prayers. In our group, we'll be reading through Paul Miller's A Praying Life and spending the majority of our time together in prayer. We'll also keep a group journal on prayer to document how God is working in our lives during the time we are meeting together. God-willing, it will be a season in which we can all grow together in the spiritual exercise of prayer and intercession. Every other Saturday, 8am - 9:30am; check with Frank to sign up.
