Anniversary Celebration A special thanks to everyone who shared a testimony of how God has been changing your life during our anniversary service last Sunday. Also, thanks to those who contributed to the lunch. It was a wonderful day of remembering how God has been at work in the life of The Bridge this past year. All praise to God!
Baptism service on 12/12. There will be 3 classes, scheduled on Sundays after worship, which you’ll need to attend to prepare for baptism. Please contact pastor Thomas for more information and to sign up. Exact time and location of the service is still TBD.
Weekend to Remember. Family Life Today is offering a couple’s retreat on 11/5-7 in Whippany. The cost is $159 per person & $99 for hotel if you want to stay overnight. There is a discounted rate if you register through The Bridge church. Please contact Steve Wen if you want more information. Youth Group This Friday the guys and girls are separating and having different events. The guys will have a fellowship night at The Bridge starting at 7:30pm. The girls will be watching a movie and having a discussion on it at Stephanie Joy’s house. Please contact Howie or Diana with for further details and Stephanie’s address. Youth Group Corn-Maze Outing (10/29) This Fall we're excited to have our first ever night time corn maze outreach (Von Thun Farms in Monmouth Junction). We will be meeting at The Bridge church at 5:45pm and will be back at 9pm. It will be a fun time and an opportunity to invite your youth's friends to come check out youth group and get to know the leaders. The cost is $8 to do the corn maze and they are welcome to bring extra money for snacks. Please contact Diana for any questions. Harvest Festival on Saturday 10/30 The Bridge and the Point will be combining efforts to host a harvest festival for the community around Babbage Park in North Brunswick on Saturday October 30 from 3-5:30PM. Volunteers are needed that day to help setup and tear down before (2pm) and after the Festival. Please contact Jessica Wong if you are able to assist Volunteers are needed to help pass out invitations this Saturday (10/16) at 9am. Please contact Jessica Wong if you are able to assist. We need your candy Starting this Sunday, we will be collecting candy at the church for the Harvest Festival. Please bring items that are individually wrapped and drop it in the collection bin located in the foyer. |
