For more information about the Metro District of the C&MA, visit their website at http://metrocma.org	Under the Hood Did you know you’re suppose to rotate your tires every 7,500 miles?  If you knew, have you been keeping track?  Maybe you’re one of those rare folks who actually does but the majority of us don’t pay attention until something goes wrong.  For me, that was last Sunday when I discovered not only was my tire completely flat but also completely worn out.  Then it struck me that life, and life together in the body of Christ, is often like that. We roll through it without paying attention to what needs to be maintained and cared for and the next thing you know, we’re in the breakdown lane.  So we’re taking some time this Fall to peek under the hood and see God’s design for the church and how he designed it so that we can prevent our life together in the local church from looking like that tire; deflated and inoperable.  Connect Groups Our connect groups are starting next week.  For details and directions of which group would most suit you, please go to our homepage and under the Ministries tab, you can click on “Connect Groups” for all of the information you’ll need to get connected.  Please contact the Group Leader of the connect group you’re interested in joining for more information. Youth Group (Sunday 5pm at The Bridge) This week we will be having a time of worship and one of our brothers from The Point Church will be sharing his testimony with us. Invite your friends to come! If you have any questions please contact Howie. 10.10.10 Anniversary Celebration Please join us for a special service and celebration on October 10 as we give thanks to God for the first year of ministry at The Bridge.  After worship service, we will have a meal together and games for the kids so please invite your friends & family to join us for this celebration. Baptism If you’ve made a commitment to follow Jesus but you haven’t been baptized, then this announcement is for you.  Details of the service and classes are still TBD but please contact Pastor Thomas if you are interested in participating in the first baptism service ever(!) in the history of The Bridge.
