It was a great time to meet many of our neighbors and have a chance to connect with them. On 8/1, a representative from Camp Daisy will join us for service to receive our gift to them. If you would like to make an additional contribution to the gift, please let Thomas know in advance and then pass it along to him on that morning.  Yard Sale A special thanks to all who contributed to last weekend’s yard sale and helped to make it such a successful event.  It was a wonderful opportunity for The Bridge, The Point, CCCC and YES to partner together.  Over $1,100 was raised through the sale and the proceeds will be divided between YES, Habitat for Humanity, and World Vision.  Pictures of the event can be found at The Bridge’s Facebook page.   If you haven’t had a chance to participate in SOS 2010 thus far, we hope you’ll join us at National Night Out (East Brunswick) and/or the renovation project with Habitat for Humanity.    National Night Out (Tuesday 8/3) Please set aside Tuesday night from 6-9pm to join the Bridge at National Night Out in East Brunswick. We will have a table there with activities, giveaways, and food. Be a part of meeting and extending a warm greeting to our neighbors. Please join the fun and sign up with Irene.   This Sunday (8/1) Have you ever found yourself in a situation where there was something that you really wanted but deep down inside, you knew it was wrong?  Have you ever been conflicted over a decision that your head was telling you one thing but your heart was telling you something else?  This Sunday, we’re going to examine what integrity looks like in those difficult moments.  See you at 10am.   T-Shirts We have created a combination SOS 2010 and Launch T-shirts available for $4. We have Men's sizes S-XXL and Women's S-XL.  Shirts will be available on Sundays at The Bridge or at any of the SOS events.
