Evening All,I was thinking of how we can ensure everyone has a reasonably comfortable night on Boxing Day. We have 28 bodies but only 5 beds (including the sofa-bed). Also, we’ve culled many towels/blankets/sleeping bags etc. Many of those with a bed will find they have other people staying with them in the room for the night, some of whom they may not have expected.
So, what I’d recommend is that you bring the following:-
· Blow up beds / camp beds or similar (camp beds were on offer in Go Outdoors) *
· Your own sleeping bags / bedding
· Your own towels
*If you think you have a bed, check with Mike or Pat first.
We’ll let you know which room you’re in when you get here so you can get your stuff out of the way and into your room. Otherwise, the hall and downstairs rooms just become an assault course.
This year, we’re going to try to keep the piano room free from sleepers and, importantly, their stuff, so whoever is up late can still enjoy using the room. Do feel free to bring an instrument if you like unless it’s a keyboard; we’re not short of them.
