What is your favorite childhood memory of edutainment?

Personally, I remember the television shows that used art, music, and
movement to teach me the basics. Some of the most memorable are:
Sesame Street, The Electric Company, and Reading Rainbow. By the way,

Does anyone remember The Gigglesnort Hotel? That was one of my
favorites, because you got to watch the host draw pictures. There was
also a show where an artist drew pictures while telling stories. I
can't remember much about it, but I know I enjoyed it.

I remember electric company for sure! I remember Morgan Freeman
(Driving Miss Daisy, Shawshank redemption etc etc) singing the song
"there's a hole in the bottom of the sea" Great memories! Here it

I also remember spiderman on the same show. I also watched Captain
Kangaroo. There was a segment about a boy named Simon. Simon's theme
song was beautiful. "Well you know my name is Simon, and the things I
draw come true....." Here it is!!! Thanks for making me remember!
