• Seeking a highly skilled and motivated Robotics Development Engineer to join our team focused on advancing automation and robotic technologies in the oil and gas sector.
• This role involves designing, developing, and deploying robotic control systems for supporting drilling operations in challenging environments primarily in the land drilling sector, on land drilling rigs.
• Design and develop robotic systems tailored for oil gas drilling and pipe-handling applications.
• Integrate sensors and control systems for autonomous drilling and pipe-handling, manipulation, and data acquisition.
• Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to prototype and test robotic control solutions for drilling and pipe-handling operations.
• Develop software for real-time control, telemetry, and remote operation of robotic platforms. Conduct field trials and validation tests in simulated and live oil gas environments.
• Ensure compliance with industry safety standards and environmental regulations.
• Analyze performance data and optimize robotic systems for safety, reliability and efficiency.
• Document engineering processes, test results, and system configurations.
