[Biketour] The OK Cafe is ON!

Hey,
Some of you on the biketour this summer might have heard about the OK Café, Manchester's temporary squatted social centre, well it’s up and running again! The OK Café has squatted The Greenhouse, a recently closed down veggie restaurant in Manchester, and re-opened it as a vegan radical social centre. Check out the website for the program over the next couple of weeks, and look out for some teapots on bikes… :D
This email is mainly for people in the UK i guess, but in case anyone is nearby, we’ll be doing some bike stuff on Sunday 18th November including a Bike Maintenance workshop at 2:30pm, followed by short films about bikes, people & activism at 6:30pm. Next, Leonie and me are doing a talk about the Biketour at 7:30pm, so pop by if anyone is in the Manchester area! I’ll be making the vegan chocolate truffles from the biketour for the OKassion, so you all have 4 days to cycle over here before they are gone!! Let me know if you need crash space.
Today’s theme is radical education and we’ll be talking about the Autonomous Learning Zone, a new radical learning project in Manchester partly inspired by the biketour (might write a bit more about this later.. ).
