Hi guys,
There's another great Daqri Smart Helmet Hackathon taking place in DCU's Innovation Campus on Friday, October 30th, 2015 1pm to 4pm Sunday, November 1st. This event brings together developers, designers, and industrial experts to imagine use cases and build apps for the DAQRI Smart Helmet augmented reality wearable. Tickets are free. Ford have been in touch to let us know they're sponsoring a one-day Hackathon in association with the WebSummit. It's to do with their SYNC AppLink - It takes place from 9am on Monday 2nd November until 11:30am on Wednesday 3rd November, entry is limited to the first approved 100 submissions. And there's a whopping €75,000 in prize money! https://dublin.makeitdriveable.com
And primarily for the devs, there's the Blockchain Hackathon, also in DCU's Innovation Campus from 5pm on Friday, 6th November - 4pm on Sunday, 8th November. There's €10,000 prize money up for grabs. Tickets are €25. More info at https://blockchain-hackathon.com
