Chomsky on political paradigms

I'm bone weary right now, and Chomsky speaks quickly, so I'll have to
stop part way through (at about 37 minutes), and listen to this
again, but it's marcvelous -- especially so considering the lecture
is from 1970.

As seems usual, terminology is variable -- what Chomsky here calls
libertarian socialist I would call social anarchism, but he goes on
to specify what he means by each term, so it is not problematic. He
also gives reference to various thinkers so the listener can follow
up on each of these concepts. The lecture is dense and heavy with
ideas and information and bears listening to more than once (and
fortunately down-loadable Youtube, for that purpose, and for stopping
to consider, or to research, various points made.

It's quite good. Almost an hour long. So far I mostly agree with
what he states as his own position, no matter what it is called.
