Chaand Nagar Theatre brings you an exciting play “Waswasa: Aik Kahani”, adapted from John Patrick Shanley’s “Doubt: A Parable”

This will be the FIRST contemporary Pulitzer Prize winning play to be performed in Pakistan. 

Waswasa follows the battle between senior staff members of a school in a small town in Punjab, where the vice principal, Azra, questions the ambiguous relationship of the principal, Haji Sarmad, with a troubled student. 

In this play, the line between truth and assumption blurs dangerously. Waswasa invites audience to question certainty, authority and thier own convictions. Join us for an evening of riveting theatre, the likes of which you have probably never seen before.
