简介：
为纪念太田省吾导演，身体剧场作品《电之驿站》将试图发展他无言剧三部曲《水之驿站》、《地之驿站》和《风之驿站》中缓慢的剧场美学。当然，《电之驿
站》所关注的是当下的生活，尤其是人的身体和电器、电子产品间的关系。在我们这个时代，当手机已然成为了与肉体不可分割的新器官，当一个人的身份不得不
通过他所购买的最新的电子产品而获得定义，当海量的电子信息高速地南北隳突之时，一个电子文明的废墟即将或者已经诞生了。
导演的话：
北京的戏剧与中国的现实无关。北京的戏剧也与世界戏剧的发展无关。体制内外的戏剧人驾着体制内外的华车，在官场和欢场间的半空中飞来飞去，一尘不染，从
不落地。他们用歌功颂德、男盗女娼、装疯卖傻的作品序列把剧场也变成了官场和欢场。
通过在楼道、大厅、闹市街头等非常规场所近乎修炼式的训练，《电之驿站》的演员们在高速流转、众声喧哗的社会环境中用沉默的身体创造出一个全新的时空：
只和戏剧、身体与社会的现实相关，与官官和欢欢无关。
何谓薪传：
薪传实验剧团成立于2008年，剧团成员全部为80后戏剧人，不满于平庸而肤浅的北京戏剧，旨在寻找戏剧新美学。本次《电之驿站》的北美巡演，既标志着
80 后戏剧首次登上国际舞台，也是中国大陆剧团首次在纽约国际实验戏剧节和蒙洛里爱国际戏剧节亮相。纽约国际实验戏剧节是北美最大的剧坛盛世之一，
2009年除薪传实验剧团之外还有来自美、英、澳、西、日的各色实验性剧目参演；而蒙洛里爱国际戏剧节则更具国际性，本届共有来自21个国家的26台剧
目上演。
剧团导演王翀，夏威夷大学戏剧硕士，也曾在北京大学和加州大学学习戏剧。他曾获2008年北京青年戏剧节新锐导演奖、2007年中国译协韩素音青年翻译
奖亚军。他的导演作品包括：

In memory of theatre director and playwright Ohta Shogo, the physical
performance piece, e-Station, experiments with extreme slowness and
quietness that has become the trademark of Ohta. In e-Station, the
complex relationship between the human body and electronic products is
examined. During the rehearsals, the performers interact in various
public locations: such as corridors, lobbies, busy streets, and parks,
silently transforming these places into new social spaces. Theatre is
transformed by their performance, with the aid of experimental sounds
and videos, breaking down walls and connecting them to the reality
outside.
Théâtre du Rêve Expérimental is dedicated to refresh the stagnant
theatre scene in Beijing. Most of the troupe members are graduates
from prestigious schools, such as the Central Academy of Drama, Peking
University, UC Berkeley, and NYU. Théâtre du Rêve Expérimental will
tour e-Station in North America during the summer of 2009, making it
the youngest Chinese theatre group to tour internationally.
WANG Chong, its founder, is an award-winning director and seasoned
translator. He has studied theatre at Peking University, University of
Hawaii, and UC Irvine. His works have been praised by the media as
"exciting work on an international level," "memorable work of the
year," and "history in the making."
