Can new members join this group?

How can someone new join this list? People I know have been trying to join, but they tell me the group isn't searchable and can't be seen without already being a member.

I updated the settings...let's see how this goes.

I will look at my filters to see why I haven't gotten "new member requests" forwarded to me.
