Hello there!

This is also for the RF folks!
I have 15 Sennheiser RM3732 II-L receivers.
I'm getting a problem with some of them, probably 3 at total.
In this units, when the RF gets a little lower (but above of the squelch level) there is a huge AF (Audio Frequency) level, as it happens when we have an interference. But their spectrum is completely clean.
For example, if the actor is away, their RF is weak, but it is above the squelch I get this problem. But If I turn their transmitter this RF channel is clean.
I have a video of that but for me It seems for me at first glance an diversity problem in this receivers.

Any idea? All the best!

If you assign the frequencies and other configuration parameters these three units are currently using to other transmitter/receiver pairs does the problem now occur in the three new receivers?

If no, then the problem is hardware related and maybe anything from a less stringently aligned RX front end to a TX with too much frequency error.

If yes, then it is spectrum or coordination related. The RF noise floor may in fact be noisy enough with a data signal that the RX tone decode is being fooled, or your frequency coordination is resulting in these three frequencies being within the occupied bandwidth of a weak intermod product where the amplitude sum of the product and carrier frequency(ies) are enough to tickle the squelch.

In either case, try raising the squelch a few dB.
