Archer Meditation
Our meditation gatherings are on the first and third Wednesdays of each month. We gather at 2461 Sandgate Rd Boondall from 9.30am to 10am or via the online option at https://www.worldpeaceprayer.org/ Simply click on this link for the World Peace Prayer site and then click on the candle to join the meditation. September 23 Spring Equinox
We are aware that planet earth lies ‘flat’ in her orbit of the sun resulting in precisely 12 hours of day and 12 hours of night. In Celtic times this was celebrated as a time of balance, the coming of light and warmth, the promise of life itself.
As we approach Spring Equinox may we “Choose Life in all its fullness” and so we pray:
We turn our faces to the warmth of the Sun dawning on the horizon; a new day offering the promise of hope, change, renewal, and rebirth for all living beings.
We gather together as one human family — mindfully planting new seeds of patience, tolerance, and understanding in the rich and fertile soil of compassion, love, and forgiveness.
We step out of the darkness of division and into the light of solidarity - balancing day and night, uncertainty and clarity, separation and unity.
May we nurture the new sprouts of transformation with the power of faith, trust, and encouragement.
May we welcome diversity in the circle of humanity with a clear vision of the necessity of “community — common unity” based in loving service to the greater good.
May we live in gratitude for all that we have, all that we are, and all that we are capable of becoming as we step into this Season of new beginnings, cultivating a world of peace, justice and love for all.
