Veena Duet on August 15th at The Arch, NYC and other events

Dear Friends,

I am pleased to announce another great Carnatic music concert taking place at the Arch Space in Manhattan on August 15th, 2008. 

JT Jeyaraaj Krishnan and Jaysri Jeyaraaj Krishnan, the husband and wife team, will be performing a Veena duet with accompanying artists A.R. Balaskandan on Mridangam and G. Balaganesh on Morsing.

Jeyaraaj and Jaysri "A" grade artists of AIR Chennai and have captivated audiences at prestigious venues in Chennai as well as other parts of the country, and abroad. They have received the "Best Veena Players" award from The Indian Fine Arts Society at their annual festival.

 I hope that you will join us for this concert.  Please see the details below and again, please spread the word to make Carnatic music alive and strong in Manhattan.

Also please keep on your calendars September 14th for the solo Bharatanatyam recital of Sonali Skandan featuring the choreography, live vocals and nattuvangam of the renowned Professor CV Chandrasekhar.  The event details are below.
