Load OWL/XML file

Dear Vangelis/Chris,

I'm trying to load an OWL/XML formatted file. The file is created using Protege starting from a second file written in RDF format. The RDF file (try.owl) is correctly loaded but if I try to load the translated one (the one in XML format, try_owl.owl) thea returns a warning "Unespected element" for each axiom if I use load_axioms('try_owl.owl'). while if I call load_axioms('try_owl.owl',owlx). it returns the following error:

ERROR: Unhandled exception: xml_axiom('http://www.semanticweb.org/riccardo/ontologies/2015/4/untitled-ontology-122',element('http://www.w3.org/2002/07/owl#':'Prefix',[name=rdf,'IRI'='http://www.w3.org/1999/02/22-rdf-syntax-ns#'],[]))

I have also tried to remove the Prefix tags but thea returned in that case:

ERROR: =../2: Arguments are not sufficiently instantiated

   Exception: (20) owl2_xml:desc_xml('SubClassOf', _G679, element('http://www.w3.org/2002/07/owl#':'Annotation', [], [element('http://www.w3.org/2002/07/owl#':'AnnotationProperty', ['IRI'='https://sites.google.com/a/unife.it/ml/disponte#pbl'], []), element('http://www.w3.org/2002/07/owl#':'Literal', [datatypeIRI='http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema#decimal'], ['0.3'])]))

I think the problem is in the management of the annotations but I have to use them. How can I make them work? Any idea?

Hi Ricardo

It's been a while since I looked the the owlxml reader/writer. How
important is it to have this functionality in prolog? The owlapi can be
used convert to and from owlxml reliably.

For my work it is very important, I have to exploit annotation. The rdf loader works fine but I would like to work also with other (newer) formats.
