Bismilla-hir-Rahma-nir-Raheem
As Salaamu 'Alaykum Muslimeen wa Muslimaat.
For those of you who do not know me, I am Siddiqah, artist, writer, and domestic engineer. Alhumdulillah, with the help of Ruqayyah, my sister-in-law, we have been able to put together this shop. The purpose of this online store is to spread the word of Islam, bridge relationships between Muslim groups, and to help young Muslims feel proud about their Way of Life and become embolden leaders.
So why Aspiring Shi'a ? To be a Shi'a, a follower of Prophet Muhammad (s.) and his pure Household is synonymous with being Mu'min. And truly to be Mu'min means that there is no contradiction within ones character, their actions and speech mirror each other so much so that their status before Allah is greater than the angels. These are the people who Allah SWT speaks of in the Qur'an as salihun (the righteous), mutaqun (the God-fearing), mutahirun (those who purify themselves), sabirun (the
patiently persevering ones), sadiqun (the truthful ones), and muflihun (the successful ones).
We know it is a tall order and that it takes years to mold our character to be like this. Alhumdulillah, that we have Prophet Muhammad (s.) as an example, that we have his daughter, Fatimah (a.s.), and his cousin and brother, Imam 'Ali (a.s.), as an example, and the rest of the 12 A'imma (a.m.s.).
So I urge and encourage you to support this effort. We aren't truly Shi'a until we are believers and God-fearing people. And amongst all the groups of Muslims we all aspire to be close to Allah Hakeem.

2. Dawah
BISMILLAHIR RAHMANIR RAHIM
When we give Salaam to another we are not just saying peace be on you ; we are praying or wishing them Allah's Mercy and Forgiveness (Qur'an 6:54). You are inviting others to peace, to do good deeds and have noble character.
As Salaamu Alaykum Brothers and Sisters,
Are you aware of it? Are you prepared for it? You may not know it but you and I are giving Da'wah to friends, neighbors, and family members - even to the people walking down the street, every day. There is no need for words; it is our actions that say the most about who we are and what standards we live by; Allah does not look at your faces nor your wealth but he looks at your hearts and your practices, said the Prophet of Islam. So what are our actions saying to others? Are we encouraging them to listen to the wisdom of Qur'an? Are we examples of good and decent behavior?
It is our duty to answer the call and propagate the message. Life on the earth is no sport and play, the deeds we do are all that follow us in death, and therefore time here must be spent wisely. Our
interrogation in the hereafter starts from the grave, the angel will ask, How did you spend your time while you were alive, Ruqayyah? Do I have much to show? Hmm, I shudder at the thought. What about you?
Come join us on www.cafepress.com/aspiringshia to spread the word of Islam, and carry the message of peace, unity, good behavior, and God-consciousness wherever you go, inshallah.

Celebrate Sisterhood
There are various new designs this month. Sisterhood is one of them. As Muslim women we have a great responsibility to raise righteous children who can be leaders. But in western societies it is very difficult. It is our obligation therefore to have a tight-knit sisterhood and lend support and help to each other as we move forward in life.
Unity Among the Communities
As we all know there is a rift between Sunnis and Shias. As an Ummah, we are required to not allow our differences to cause hatred and strife between us but rather deal with our differences as brothers and sisters. It is because of this I have added a new section in my shop called unity. Here you will see various items with slogans such as Either Sunni or Shia we are all Muslim and One Nation, One Ummah, Governed by Allah , and One Qibla, One Goal: Peace . If you are a firm believer in solidarity, in understanding and brotherhood, in sincerity and seeking truth, then these shirts and gift items are an excellent way of speaking that truth! So show friends and family that brotherhood and sisterhood are the keys to strengthening our ummah.
The City of Knowledge & It's Gate
Prophet Muhammad (s.) said, I am the City of Knowledge and Ali is its Gate; whoever aspires to attain knowledge, let him approach through the gate.
