Time to start with KRITI'13.
Theme of kriti'12 was "Importance of dreams". We need to decide a theme for this year. Please come up with some ideas.
Any suggestion would be welcomed.

I like ruchika maam's suggestion. Women empowerment is a good agenda ,
we can spread a message to the little boys that men and women are
equal and have equal roles and to the girls that they have all the
freedom to dream and chase those dreams.

For the NGO meet agenda -- a discussion on the topic-- How the Ngo's work toward providing a platform to god gifted kids they discover in their respective organisations-- this would even give good example to other Ngo's facing a same scenario.

I was also waiting for KRITI 2013.

I also believe Woman Empowerment (Including Women Education, Women Security) should be agenda of the meeting.

Well yes we can maintain a blog , facebook page and other things.

Seeing the situation in the country, I think for now "women empowerment and related " topics can serve the best interest. Well we can't change the society in one day, miracles do not exist. But it has to start somewhere or the other, let's contribute our bit ! I am sure, together we all can and we will.

Women Empowerment is a good theme, and can be taken forward in number of ways. Focusing on Skill developement and Capacity Building among the women of the society serves the purpose not only  by leading  to the develpement of the women, but of the whole community.

In the light of recent events there has been a lot of debate on the state of women in our country. I think it is a good idea to include the same in this year's Kriti. There are multiple avenues which the discussion can be directed
to - education, health, social equality etc. all focused on women. As for the health camp, I will try and see if we can have a hatrick this year :).

I also believe that women empowerment can be one of the most effective themes for Kriti. It is imperative that the young generation, especially boys must realize and believe that we all are equal and women are capable of doing everything. I always believe that educating young minds is the optimum way of bringing any change.

Looking forward to attend Kriti this year.
All the best to the team !

Regarding the theme of KRITI '13 - 'Women empowerment'/'Gender equality' seems to be good.

Regarding the agenda of the NGO meet - Suggestions are invited for the same.
[For those new to the group - NGO meet is kind of a round-table-conference whereby representatives of the participating NGOs interact, network, discuss their respective issues - along with a concrete agenda]

@ Vini
We should incorporate that topic

Regarding the web presence and online publicity... I and 3 more ppl from third year have sort of started a startup- "The Campus Herald" . We are an online platform for all types of news and updates..be it Nsit/DU/General News.. We have already talked to the organizers of various events and so we will be covering all the up-coming fests of our college... sports meet, quiz fest, moksha, Tedx... So we can do KRITI also... what say..? :)

Hii we don't think that we need any thing to be outsourced, I think we can do it in-house. But, We can definitely work with "The Campus Herald" in some or other way.

It will not be like outsourcing anything...it is more or less a coverage done by the students, for the students.. Just to have a proper overview of the whole event...pre-fest n post-fest.. Anyways do let us noe if "The Campus Herald" can work with you in some other scenario..

For Kriti, we can add events like Musical Chair.

And going by the theme we can do a photographic quiz through projector.Like we can display the photos of famous and epic women with their names on a projector and ask the children to remember them. Then in the next turn we will display photos only and ask them the respective names instead. So it can be kind of a quiz.

@kritika saxena
We can incorporate the idea of quiz. It would be refreshing for the students sitting in main audi during lunch time.
 Good one!
@ruchika : other than short movie clips we can have this quiz.

Hello all,
Do we need to get certificates printed for kriti'13? I need to place a bulk order for an other fest as well, so we might get them at discounted rates. Please let me know if it can be of any help.

Also, who handles the neighborhood society web portal hosted on nsitonline site? Nsitonline is getting re-designed and they needed to know who has designed our site.

Please revert back asap.
