Please let us know your thoughts about the content and functionalities that you would like to see on a future IBSI website. We are working on it. If you are interested in actively participating in its design, please let us know!

I would suggest - release early!

It doesn't need to be too involved in the beginning. What I would suggest:

 - one-paragraph summary of what IBSI is (and what it is not, perhaps!)
 - pointers to the paper, phantoms, implementations that comply with IBSI
 - pointer to a "live" version of the IBSI document so that people know how to get involved (I recall you were considering ReadTheDocs for that purpose?)
 - pointer to the mailing group

If you are practical and frugal like me, you could consider using Jekyll and GitHub for hosting the web site content. There are many Jekyll templates you could find. I did spend some time going through those for a tutorial we did last year at MICCAI, and my top choice was this one: https://github.com/BlackrockDigital/startbootstrap-agency (see adaptation for our tutorial here: http://qiicr.org/dicom4miccai/).

Once the site/ReadTheDocs are live, it will be easier to engage people for feedback and participation. I would be happy to help spread the word!

Hi Andrey,

Thanks for your input! It really helps.

You are right that the earlier the release, the easier it will be to engage people.

As of now, we are thinking of
1) A main webpage (containing all relevant pointers you mentioned) using "GitPages" and Jekyll solutions, just like you proposed. The GiHub repository has been created: https://github.com/theibsi/theibsi.github.io
2) A documentation page for a live version of the IBSI document using ReadTheDocs, just like you proposed. The GiHub repository has been created: https://github.com/theibsi/ibsi-doc
3) An upload page where people can submit results. Work in progress: https://radiomics.hevs.ch/ibsi

Unfortunately, we have not been able to put enough time yet to complete a first draft of these pages. If you would like to contribute, we would be most happy to add you as a collaborator on those GitHub repositories so that you could easily commit! Let me know!

Thanks,
Martin
