It looked like it was going to be a laugher when KC jumped out to an early 6-1 lead with 4 in the 1st and 2 more in the 2nd to chase starter Wilbur Cooper.
Pittsburgh had other ideas as their bullpen stiffened and they pulled to 6-5 with a four run 4th.
KC pulled back ahead 9 to 6 but PIT cut it to 9-7 in the 7th.
After getting the first two runners on in the bottom of the 9th, a double play looked like it would seal it.
Ralph Kiner had other ideas as he jacked a two out two run HR to tie it at 9.
Chino Smith greeted rp Roy Face with a 2-run HR in the top of the 10th.
The Bucs made it interesting in the bottom of the 10th with a lead off HR by Bill Madlock.
After a caught stealing, singles by Lloyd Waner and Honus Wagner brought Ralph Kiner to the plate with a chance to be a hero again.
Kiner ripped a deep fly, but it was caught to end the 11-10 barn burner.
Road team has still won every game in the series...
