Hey there everyone!
It's time for our monthly club meeting again.
It's Thursday, the 15th of January, 7PM at the EOC room at The Woodlands Central Fire Station, 9951 Grogans Mill Rd, Spring, TX 77380 (https://maps.app.goo.gl/LdAGzd3UfNjKk6N6A) (upstairs, through the often-closed hallway door - knock if closed, then left into the EOC)
We just had the Houston Marathon take place. I'm sure there will be some discussion around that, as a number of us helped out.
We have The Woodlands Marathon coming up February 28th (Saturday). Please, if you are able to help, please sign up at https://www.woodlands-event-comms.info
Also, regardless of whether you can help or not, please spread the word with your other amateur radio friends about it.
A bit later, we also have the Ironman Texas. Have yet to hear about The Woodlands Triathlon.
I understand that Keith had a work day at the fire station, so I'll be interested to hear an update on how that went, and whether anyone else was able to show up and help, too.
Of course, I'm sure there will be some other topics raised for discussion, and we can discuss anything that is of interest on the spot.
