Our regular club meeting is coming up this Thursday, the 21st of November, 7PM at the EOC room at The Woodlands Central Fire Station, 9951 Grogans Mill Rd, Spring, TX 77380 (

Surprise, surprise, I *will* be able to attend the meeting! (thank you to everyone that helped keep the ship pointed in the right direction).
I'm open to any topics for discussion. Let me know if you have a specific topic, but, I'm sure that once we get started, the time will go, and we'll have touched on multiple topics by the time we depart.
If you have any items to 'show-n-tell', by all means, bring it/them along, and you'll have some time to talk about the item(s).
Reminder: recruiting is still underway for the support of the houston marathon. The Houston Marathon has potential to involve a large number of amateur radio operators in covering all of the various roles, and is probably one of the largest events in the area, so, this is a great way to help, and, to get to know more people in the amateur radio community. Please do sign up to help if you have availability and willingness to be part of that.

Other news: Tibor has made a donation to the club in the form of a mobile transceiver (Icom ic-706 mk2g, which is uhf/vhf/hf capable), which will come in very handy for use at the fire station (or elsewhere). Have not tested it yet, but it should be fine. Included are a power supply and some other bits and bobs. Huge thank you to Tibor
KE5ELV!
So....
If you're available, see you there!
Best Regards,
